Customize or build your own reports! Some customized reports have been auto-populated with items to display. Customized reporting allows you to select the following:
-- Columns you want to display in your report
-- Select a specific date range
-- Currencies (US, AU, GBP, Euros)
-- ISBN, Title, and Author
-- Book Format (Print or Digital*(where applicable))
-- Output Format
Selecting Custom Columns
You can select default columns or custom columns.
If you select custom columns, you can select items to be removed from the Included Columns section.
Click the arrow pointing to the right to add that item as a column for your report.
Use the arrows to move selections from one side to the other.
You can hold the Ctrl key down and select several items and then use the arrow keys to move to either
Arranging Column Order
When building a report, you can use the up and down arrow keys to rearrange the order of the appearance of the data points in your report.
Select the column header from the list, so it is highlighted, and then click the arrow key to move it.
In this example, we moved the Units Sold to the top of the list, so it is the first column listed.
Selecting Date Ranges
Select a specific date range or choose an option to the right.
Selecting Locations for Sales Reports
Select a location or continent for the report or select Worldwide.
While the selections below will narrow your report by continent, the data you receive will be presented by country.
Selecting Locations for Transaction Reports
Transaction reports will display available Lightning Source markets.
Selecting Currency for Transaction Reports
Transactions reports will display available currency options.
ISBNs, Title, and Author
You can apply title-level filters like ISBN, Title (beginning with the phrase you enter), or author name in Last Name, First name, or Last Name only format.
Select from available formats: All, Paperback, Hardback, or Ebook*(where applicable)
If viewing an Invoice report, you can filter by invoice number
Select the format you would like to use to view the reporting.
Selecting Email Delivery will end with a confirmation screen to confirm your request has been received, including a request ID number. Keep a note of your request ID numbers as this can help with troubleshooting any reports requested but not received.
