Materials Used in Book Manufacturing Process

This document provides a list of standard papers/materials used in the manufacturing of Lightning Source printed books.

The specific papers/materials used in the manufacturing process are determined by the mill sourced, trim size, and/or bind type selected at the time of title setup and file submission.

Lightning Source uses a petroleum-based EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) glue furnished by Reynolds Company in the binding process.

This list is subject to update without notice. Publishers are encouraged to check back here periodically to verify certified papers.

Revised 1/3/23.
