Account deletions could happen for a number of reasons – including at a publisher’s request.
Lightning Source will maintain your account information in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) safety protocols. This means that your account may be deleted automatically if you:
- Fail to confirm the email address you supplied during your account setup
- Fail to complete all of the required information fields during your account setup
- Fail to accept the Lightning Source agreement within 30 days
It's important to complete the account setup process as quickly as possible to avoid systematic deletion of your account.
Here’s what you need to start the process:
- A valid email address
- A credit card to keep on file in your secure account
- - Can be changed at any time, or others may be added
- A tax ID number (For business accounts only)
- Your banking information or PayPal account information (U.S.)
- - (for direct deposit of what you earn for every book sale)
