Orders Address Book
- In the left side toolbar of your Lightning Source account, click on Orders.
- Click on Address Book
- Select Shipping Addresses or Return Addresses from the dropdown at the top of the page.
- Shipping Addresses
- Where your order will be shipped
- Return Addresses
- This is the address the order will be returned to if it cannot be delivered to the shipping address or if it is refused by the recipient.
- Please do not use Ingram, IngramSpark, or Lightning Source addresses as your return address.
- Shipping Addresses
- Click on Add Contact to create a new address listing.
- Fill out the fields, the red asterisk indicates it’s a required field.
- Check the Set as Default box if you would like to make this the default address. When placing orders there is a shortcut link to select the default address.
- The default address will have Default text at the top of the card.

- Click Save
- Address shortcuts
- Click on any English alphabet characters (A-Z) to find all addresses that start with that character in the contact or organization name (the first two lines of the address).
- The hashtag/pound sign
- The 𝙭 (last character in the line) will bring back all of the addresses.
- You also have the option to find an address using the search field at the top of the page.
- NOTE: About Acceptable Languages & Characters to Use: When placing an order and entering a ship to address, Ingram/Lightning Source can currently print shipping labels using only English-style letters or languages that do not use UTF8 characters or symbols.
- Syriac languages, Chinese, Russian, etc. (that use symbolic/other alphabets) will not currently work and will cause delivery and tracking problems.
- Import Addresses
- You have the option to import addresses via spreadsheet. Click on Import in the upper right-hand corner. Click on the blue Download Template for the spreadsheet. Click Download Address Import Guide for instructions.
- When complete, click on the blue Import button to upload the spreadsheet.
- The formatting must meet all requirements to import correctly.
- Export Addresses
- Click on Export in the upper right-hand corner to download a .csv file that can be opened in many different spreadsheet and text editors. Imported formatting may vary depending on the application.
- Favorites
- Select the small green banner in the upper left corner of each address card to save it as a favorite.
- Click the blue Favorites button to view which addresses have been saved as a favorite.
- Click on All Contacts to return to viewing all addresses.
